Focus  ...  what's anchor text?

Understanding what’s anchor text and how to best use it will help improve your website’s PageRank. 
You can boost your own site’s relevancy in the eyes of Google by linking relevant words or keywords (called “anchor text”) on your own site’s inner pages back to other pages in your site.
These are the actual words or text that a visitor clicks on when clicking on a link.  This strategy most powerfully affects your Google PageRank for your main home page when an inner page links back to it. 
Note that the page that benefits most from this is the recipient (or target) page and to a lesser degree the page from which the link originates.

Internal & external links ...

Whether your links are internal (on your own site) or external (on other sites), points to keep in mind include:

• Place your anchor text within the web page’s natural content so that the wording blends naturally.
• Disperse them throughout the pages and do not concentrate them together at the bottom of the page.
• Vary the actual text used for the links so that you don’t have large numbers of backlinks all using the same text, or Google will become suspicious and your site penalized.

How to link anchor text

If you link anchor text for optimal interconnection between the inner pages of your website, not only will your search engine optimization improve, your site will also become more user-friendly and will increase visitor traffic throughout all your pages.
When you link anchor text, all you are doing is using some of the text or wording that’s found on a website (your own or someone else’s), and create a link with it so that when clicked on, it takes you somewhere else. 
For example, a visitor to an article directory may click on some linked text which takes them directly to your website.  Hopefully, when they reach your site, they aren’t disappointed - that the contents on your website do indeed match whatever it is that the original linked anchor text described.

How to create anchor text

For illustrative purposes let’s suppose that your website is at www.www.scorpioadvertising.com
A 3rd inner page includes the sentence:  “When seo services India, it’s time …”,
and you wish the words “seo services India” to be the anchor text linking back to your “scorpioadvertising” page.  This is how the html code for the anchor text would appear

When <a href="http://www.scorpioadvertising.com">seo services India </a> it’s time ..
And your web page will display it as:

When seo services India. It's time ... So the actual html code for the link itself (including its anchor text) is:

<a href="http://www.yourdomain.com/target-page.html">your anchor text,</a>
